Photo exhibition about Georgia opens in Moscow

A personal exhibition dedicated to Georgia by the photographer and member of the Russian Photographers Union, Margarita Fedina, started today at Moscow’s Turgenev Library.

Margarita Fedina specialises in taking pictures of historical architecture. The exhibition is a kind of a journey diary to Georgia. The exhibition includes photos of old Tbilisi streets, streetscapes, nature, monasteries and temples, Georgia Online reports.

The Milky Way from Kakheti


An absolutely stunning photograph by Georgian astrophotographer Levan Verdzeuli has been chosen as the best photo of the day by Amateur Astronomy Picture of the Day (AAPOD) , an international website about amateur astrophotographers.

Levan stitched six individual photos together to make this wonderful panorama of the Milky Way as seen from Sagarejo in Kakheti, Eastern Georgia.
